The Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion or the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, is a sacrament and sacrifice in the Catholic Church that involves receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ under the form of bread and wine. The word "Eucharist" means "Thanksgiving". - USCCB
In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is"sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. The prophets of the Old Testament foretold that God's Spirit would rest upon the Messiah to sustain his mission.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is a Christian rite that is considered a sacrament in the Roman Catholic church. It is the second of three sacraments of Christian initiation, along with Baptism and the Eucharist.
